Seghers has really done his homework for this book. Not only is this a excellent biography of Corelli the man and the singer, he includes a fairly detailed snapshot of pratically every performance and recording session Corelli did.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book by Mr. Seghers.

This biography of tenor Franco Corelli, written by René Seghers, is thoroughly researched and documented with complete references and notes referring to each chapter at the back of the book. I liked very much the presentation of a chronological sequence of his life and career from beginning at his birth in Ancona, 1921 to his death in Milan, 2003.
