Interesting reading this from the perspective of +11 years: you get to see what was novel and become more commonplace. Sure, herding cats and dogfooding etc are common enough, but I think the most amusing one was where he described his "personal prize for innovation / pretentiousness" being the Australian who used the word 'eventuate'.
